26lettres – Emanuel Cohen — Montréal, Canada

“Good design can be considered as smart design. If design provokes an emotional reaction, then its idea and purpose has been successfully communicated. Having the power to turn anything that is banal and lifeless into something that will generate an emotional response and reach people is what I enjoy most about design.”

Emanuel Cohen is a multi-disciplinary graphic designer specialising in branding, editorial and typography design. After graduating from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), he gained experience working at the prestigious design firm Paprika in Montreal. He is currently freelancing for a variety of clients, developing innovative ideas and effective communication solutions. He has won numerous design awards including those of the Type Directors’ Club, the Art Directors’ Club and the Grafika.
