Bielke+Yang — Oslo, Norway

“Patterns are a nice and very graphic way to use your identity. But when you have a pattern, there is always the chance of implementing it on too many elements or objects. Too much of anything is annoying, and it could have the exact opposite result of what you are trying to achieve. And you see poorly done patterns everywhere … so spend some time making it.”

Bielke+Yang is an Oslo-based graphic-design studio led by Christian Bielke and Martin Yang. This creative duo’s strength lies in identity and communication, for print and web. Their projects range from concept development, strategy, naming, visual profiling and web design to editorial and packaging design.
