Debaser - David Homer, Aaron Hayward — Sydney, Australia

The joy of conferences? Getting to reveal all the dodgy little secrets about how we make our work. We pointed out bits of sticky tape holding parts of things we photographed together, all the little bits and pieces that are considered mistakes, but which we think makes the work look great.

David Homer met Aaron Hayward while working as members of the in-house design studio at Sony Music. While there, they found that they shared the same interest in and love of music and design. One thing led to another and they decided to join forces and found a studio, naming it Debaser. Having a mutual background of illustration, painting, print-making, photography and film-making, they continued to use these approaches in their work and have established a unique combination of computer technology and hands-on, traditional artwork.
