Gabriel Nazoa — Paris, France

“The French designer has an abstract way of thinking. In the future, when this and an understanding of the need for functionality come together, the result will be a unique and interesting graphic-design point of view.”

Gabriel Nazoa first became interested in photography and design while playing around with a disposable camera taking pictures in the street. His father noticed his creative talent and invited him to Paris to show him its arts and design scene. Here Nazoa met a cinematic artist called Carlos Cruz Diez and his geometric and dynamic abstractions with primary colours inspired Nazoa to study graphic design. After a few years working as an art director for various advertising agencies such as Lowe and Partners, Leo Burnett and J.Walter Thompson, he decided to go freelance and opened his own studio.
