Genis Carreras — London, UK

“I would sum up minimalism as using less to say more. Minimal design, to me, is when the least amount of visual elements are employed to convey the essence of an idea, without ornamental or unnecessary embellishments. All that is left in the design has a meaning and a reason to be there.”

Based in London, but born in Catalonia, Spain, Carreras has worked on branding, editorial and print projects for clients around the globe such as Sony Music, O2, Red Cross and Ballantine’s. He is also the author of the book Philographics: Big Ideas In Simple Shapes, published by BIS, 2013.
