Hieu Trieu — Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

“Nowadays, people are too busy to care too much about the things around them. The printed poster has been around for a long time and is a good way of communicating with people. It has been designed in many different ways to attract passers-by. It could be an image, some words, a visual or the event it is promoting that you want to know more about that makes you curious. It is an excellent way to gain attention. In our digital age, many things have become out-dated, but there will always be a place for the printed poster.”

Hieu Trieu is a graphic designer, specialising in branding and packaging. He also has extensive experience in art direction, typography, photo-shooting and final artwork. He is hands-on throughout, from the first meeting with clients to receiving the brief, researching ideas, sketching, execution and the final artwork. He prides himself on having an open mind and always challenging himself with new ideas.
