Jean-Christophe Naour — Seoul, South Korea

"A good interaction designer is someone who creates interactive experiences that connect products to their users through inventive blends of technology and story-telling. Interaction design is all about the subtleties."

Jean-Christophe Naour is a French interaction designer based in Seoul, South Korea. His work is often a mix of design and code as he develops interaction concepts, interfaces, programmes and motion design for mobile phones, MP3 players, television, GPS and installations. He says: "Generactive art allows me the possibility to perform my ideas as genetic code (algorithm), and to realise, as one’s natural DNA does, an unpredictable series of events, pictures, objects, environment – all recognisable by the creative idea behind them."
