Julius Hui — Hong Kong, China

Starting this year, Hui has started working as an independent text-typeface designer this year, dedicated to Chinese fonts, and graphic designer, based in Hong Kong.

Julius Hui received his formal training at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He spent two years learning about Chinese-text typefaces under the designer behind the renowned LiGothic and LiSong Chinese-font family on Mac OSX, Sammy Or. In late 2009 he designed the new XinGothi Chinese-font family, with Cherry Chao "translating" it into Roman script.
