Kenn Lam — Singapore

Lam admits this "dark-side" and blames it on a bad fall he suffered when he was just a kid. He also believes that this is the reason why he sometimes speaks in the third person in his work.

Simplicity and a slight touch of Chinese calligraphy are the key elements you can expect to see in Singaporean illustrator Kenn Lam’s work. His image-making has aspects of both an old and a new approach and is sometimes said to have a “dark” side to it.
