Koh Min Yu — Singapore

FIVE (a design project using Phaidon Press as a mock client) is a handsome collection aims to construct an inter-active experience for readers to discover what the future may hold in store for them.

Chinese divination is an ancient series of skills-sets through a variety of means that has been passed on from generation to generation and is a very important cultural legacy within Chinese communities around the world. Fascinated by these centuries-old practices, Singaporean graphic designer Koh Min Yu has created a hand-crafted collector’s-edition box-set of divination-themed techniques such as mole reading, palmistry, tarot cards, sneeze timing, eye-twitch interpretation, the Chinese zodiac, the Tibetan lunar horoscope, the I-Ching and the Five Elements.
