Maharishi — London, UK

“We love love because love is all there is.”

The Maharishi brand has been extremely influential in the proliferation of camouflage in civilian fashion over the past decade. Much respected for its eco-friendly philosophy, Maharishi was dubbed “Streetwear Designer of the Year” at the British Fashion Council Awards. Apart from the cameo trademarks of Maharishi, Creative Director Hardy Blechman has published his seven years of research under the title Disruptive Pattern Material. The book talks about the history of camouflage from its roots in nature, through to its adoption by the military, and on to its current popularity and use within modern civilian culture.
