Media Arc — Hong Kong, China

What makes good website design? Great visuals, good rhythm, good user flow and great motion, if possible. As a designer, I treat the web as a moveable graphic canvas — it can exhibit something more than an image, and how to present the content within the small window is a kind of art in itself.

Media Arc is a one-man studio founded by Ray Cheung aka Nacoki. The studio name is a variation of the term “media art”, which reflects the fact that what he creates and designs is all about the art of multimedia, but with an explosive, energetic twist to it, which is where the “arc” comes in — and represents the feeling Cheung wants people to take away from his work.
