Multitouch Barcelona — Barcelona, Spain

"We believe in using the technology to create relationships and breaking down the walls between the people using it. We always say that it is not important what happens on the screen, what’s really important is what happens outside."

The history of Multitouch Barcelona goes back to the college days of Dani Armengol and Roger Pujol, who started a project at university, teaming up with a couple of friends to work together on new technologies, in particular multi-touch technologies. They were invited to give a talk at the Offf Festival 2008 about their multi-touch table prototype and they needed a name fast, so they combined what they do with where they come from.
