Owen Gildersleeve — London, UK

"I don’t really think that presenting papercraft in print diminishes the outcome of the piece. As long as you treat the artwork with respect and don’t over-retouch things. I guess it’s because I've always worked by photographing my artwork, so I’m used to this crossover from analogue to digital. It’s something you have to embrace working in our field, as most of the major clients will generally need some kind of final digital imagery to use in their magazine, website or advert."

Owen Gildersleeve is now based in London where he works as a designer, illustrator and set-maker. His playful, hand-crafted creations won him a prestigious ADC Young Guns 9 award and have seen him collaborate with an array of international clients as well as exhibiting worldwide.
