World Design Capital Taipei 2016 — Visual Taipei — Taipei, Taiwan

In Taipei Pavilion I of the World Design Capital Taipei 2016 International Design House Exhibition, Page Tsou, celebrated visual artist and founder of Taipei-based studio Auspicious Design, presents Visual Taipei. The exhibition features over 300 works from 61 visual artists, illustrators, and designers, exploring the space between design and art, between hand-painted and digital, between non-commercial and interdisciplinary.

The visual artists participating in this exhibition include Jim Stoten (UK), Natsko Seki (Japan), Einar Torkowski (Germany), and Julien Pacaud (France). 20 of these artists were also commissioned to create works reflecting their impressions of Taipei, to create the Taipei Poster series. The exhibition also features classic Herman Miller Eames Molded Plastic Chairs printed with the works of 15 artists, and several movie theaters showcasing animated artworks.
