Paputh Nimchuar — Bangkok, Thailand

"Of course I will use Thai tradition in my designs, because it is what we have and others do not, so we have to treasure it. It expresses itself both in what the product looks like and how it is made."

A graduate of the King Mongkut Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), with a degree in industrial design, Paputh Nimchuar works on a wide range of projects from furniture design, branding and packaging to corporate identity, bringing his minimalist style to bear on a variety of different media. He is currently involved with outdoor-furniture maker Kenkoon and the Anon Pairot design studio.
