Pattern Matters — Singapore

"My paper designs are all based on the design element of pattern. They demonstrate the way in which pattern can be adopted differently on various designs through tactile exploration."

Pattern Matters is a graphic-design-based project by the Singaporean designer Lim Siang Ching. Lim specialises in showing the possible ways to display the changing role of patterns by rendering and discovering the process of paper pattern-making, presenting patterns in every conceivable way. She has proven that pattern can be more than a simple decoration tool, that it can also be used as a fundamental element for infographic and signage design.
