Suralert Jirawangso — Bangkok, Thailand

"We need to support each other more. The same old artists always get used and it's very hard for a newcomer to break in. Having said that, the Thai creative industry has been winning a lot of international awards lately."

Suralert Jirawangso stumbled across his ideal career while he was studying business administration at Assumption University in Bangkok. After graduating, he started hawking his portfolio of graphic designs, all executed in his spare time, from studio door to door until he found one, a local fashion magazine called Daybeds, prepared to give him a job.
