Yiğit Karagöz — Istanbul, Turkey

I have found that literally anything can act as an inspiration, anything at all from around this world, and I don’t believe that there should be any limits or boundaries for designers when it comes to creating something new.

Yiğit Karagöz is a graphic designer, illustrator and enthusiastic artist. Currently based in Istanbul, he developed a great passion for art and alternative cultures when still young and was heavily influenced by comic books and skateboarding graphics. Karagöz’s work speaks for itself, involving colourful, playful imagery and inspired by his everyday surroundings. While he was working as an art director at Daniska, he had already benefited from the experience of having taken part in various design, motion-graphic and installation projects, and he is now regarded as one of the country’s top designers.
