Jonas Emmertsen — Copenhagen, Denmark

“Personally, I love using patterns. It’s hard to make a nice pattern, but when you reach something good it makes it so easy to do different surfaces and really give it a feeling of the brand. The downside with patterns can sometimes be if they are too detailed and over-used they can conflict with other parts of an identity, such as the typography. ”

Jonas Emmertsen developed an interest in graphic design when he was 13, but he began working on web design after teaming up with his friend Emil Juul, who knew quite a lot about coding and designing web pages. Years later Emmertsen finally made his dream come true by enrolling at the School of Visual Communication in Haderslev, Denmark. This experiences changed his life and now on he is able to do what he loves every day.
