“What I find attractive about sequential art is the potential to tell your story the exact way that you envision it. In film, the story will be re-processed through the visions of the director, the script writer, the actors, etc., and often strays from its original state. Compared to that, I find that comics allow for a raw, personal and more direct form of story-telling.”

Sherif “Barbatoze” Adel is a comics artist and writer, as well as a practising dentist. He has a passion for sequential art as a medium for story-telling. His projects include: Barbatoze Comics, an online comics blog, Pass By Tomorrow, a serialized sci-fi comedy, and Zen, an illustrated “spiritual journey”.
