“‘Bla Bla’ was my first personal project and it stays close to my heart. For my team and I, it was important to develop techniques where the aesthetic and the interactivity are designed in a way that we forget it’s technologic. There is no interface. It’s just intuitive point-and-click. The story unfolds organically as you create bonds with the little character. We used stop-motion and hand-made animation to make it feel like a film and not a video game. ‘Bla Bla’ stands apart in its emphasis on achieving an emotional response in the viewer.”
