"Most of the time, when people don’t get triggered by minimalist design it’s because of a lack of imagination.”
The founders of almost Modern, Jorn de Vries and Markus Rummens, started off doing screen-printing together. On one occasion, while they were making a sweater, they put the word “modern” on it. After lots of positive feedback and suggestions that they actually use the word as their studio title, they found that this domain name was already taken. So they added the word “almost”, which they decided was a little less abstract and covered the way they wanted to work perfectly.
