Alphaville presents 'The House of Mojoko' — Singapore — 25 SEP - 4 OCT, 2015

‘The House of Mojoko’ is a multi-media exhibition taking over four floors of a brand new location in East Singapore. Mojoko’s love of B-Movie Trash culture and rich Asian heritage smash together in this visual explosion of an exhibition. Inspired by his life in modern Asia, the artist juxtaposes the old and the new, the East and the West, whilst exploring themes such as magic, vanity, paranoia & superstition in a dizzying landscape of Asian tourist souvenirs, antique furniture and mirrors, traditional acupuncture posters and other various ephemera he has collected and subverted.
