Kopeikin Gallery is pleased to present New York based artist, Jeffrey Milstein’s latest body of work: LANY. As a photographer, Milstein is best known for his images of planes in flight, using the camera to often capture the underbelly of an aircraft. In his fifth solo exhibition with the gallery, Milstein continues this dynamic exploration of flight through his relationship with New York and Los Angeles. Depicting cities, epic landmarks, airports, and neighborhoods, Milstein presents not only the architectural and geometric similarities of the two cities, but allows us to see clear manifestations of the 21st century American identity. In conjunction with the exhibition, Milstein will be publishing a new monograph (Thames & Hudson) of the same title this November.
