"Merge" is the first installment of the three themes of Tiger Translate 2007; which is to be rendered into an exclusive multi-sensory event of art, music, photography and live performances in New York City. Working on the theme "Merge", Tiger is inviting emerging artists from across the region to translate their vision of modern Asia.
The 25 creatives featured here in Merge including the likes of Momorobo from Singapore, E18 Studio from Malaysia and BORED from Thailand, have twisted the meaning of "Merge" to new heights through their own personal perspective as Asians. The level of diversity in different interpretation towards the theme has made us all realise that creativity is not so much about one's ability to be rational, but one’s ability to express emotions.
