Translate at Shanghai was all about juxtaposing the Shanghainese multi-media "castle" of printed illustrations, photographs, graffiti and moving images, will be Faile’s 18 very large canvasses (7 ft. x 7 ft.) that will depict their relationship with Asia, based mostly on their experience with the largely Asian immigrant community in Chinatown in New York City. Their work will depict the powerful, emotive and deeply personal comment on the society they live in and response to the brief of "Show me your Asia".
