The Red Mice District: Guerilla Art in Amsterdam‘s Red Light — Amsterdam, Netherlands

The Red Mice District is an alternate world by artist Luiz Risi, teeming with sexy characters, which currently live in the Red Light District area. In the narrow streets where the city never sleeps, rodent pin-up girls in risqué outfits inhabit a new layer between the sex shops and strip clubs of Amsterdam. Luiz Risi, the creator, artist and filmmaker behind this street art intervention, installs the figures himself at various strategic locations in and around the famous Red Light District of Amsterdam. Risi advances the story of the sexy mice through a series of short films and collaborations with international artists like The London Police, Minivilla, Laser 3.14, Wayne Horse, Joe Holbrook and Maomaland.
