Edward Cella Art & Architecture is pleased to announce its representation of internationally acclaimed artist Jun Kaneko. Born in Nagoya, Japan, Kaneko immigrated to the US in the 1960's. Originally trained as a painter, the artist found his passion for ceramics through collector Fred Marer. He soon after studied with Peter Voulkos, Paul Soldner and Jerry Rothman in California at the height of The Contemporary Ceramics Movement. Now based in Omaha, Nebraska, Jun Kaneko is one of the most celebrated artists of his generation. His works are included in more than seventy museum collections worldwide, and he has completed over thirty permanent public art projects.
