Alex Arizmendi aka MFK00 — México City, México

What is the attraction of creating sequential art? “To be able to play and have fun with different characters, universes and stories; for me, every time I get to draw something I make it my own.”

Born in 1976, Alex Arizmendi has always had an obsessive interest in line and form. Eclectic in theme and style, he is a renegade from the plastic arts who found refuge in the pixel. He says that he finds “inspiration in the complex and fascination for the simple”. He goes on to claim that he is a “dedicated conciliator of order and chaos” who is “trapped in worlds of bright colours, pursued by masked angels, artificial muses and tiny loves”. He has more than 15 years of work experience, mainly in the entertainment industry, publishing and world-wide advertising. Alex is currently working with MARVEL and ASPEN Comics.
