“Using character design for brand marketing can give customers a sense of familiarity and, unlike celebrity models,it can remain a permanent asset. Also, it’s easy to build a strong emotional bond with customers and influence direct or indirect sales. It makes it easier for companies to tell stories through the cuteness of the character.”
Launched in 2010 as a four-designer group, Delpic is now a creative group of 28 professionals. The name is a combination of “delight” plus “picker”.
