Doradora Design Studio — Dolores Oliver — Buenos Aires, Argentina
“One of the most importan topics today in Argentina is poverty. Sadly, more than 30 percent of the population are living below the poverty line and people are going hungry. So we think that it could be a good idea to promote people having their own home gardens so that they could, at least, have some food for free. The goverment could supply seeds and all the equipment to build home gardens and that ‘kit’ could come with a very simple flyer that explains, with simple illustrations, how to build these home gardens.”
Doradora is a young, full-service design studio founded by two sisters, Dolores (graphic designer) and María (industrial designer) Oliver. They are involved in the whole design process from the idea to the final outcome, contributing their respective complementary disciplines and skills.
