“I have been waiting for a re-branding of the Instagram logo since it started. From the very beginning when it was a small company, I had the feeling that the logo is something of a work in progress and I still feel the same about it. I just can’t get used to it. For example, using calligraphy or even a handwriting font for something that is so quintessentially online does not make any sense. So for a re-branding, I would start by using fonts and a logo that originate from the digital world.”
