Francesca Pasini — Riva del Garda, Italy

"What I really enjoy about my job is the possibility to create something new. To see an abstract idea become real is the most satisfactory thing for me. For this reason the projects I prefer are those that involve craft, in which the concept progressively develops physically from a handmade work to the graphic elaboration."

Francesca Pasini’s first encounter with art was when she studied in high school, explored different techniques like photography, etching or silk-screen printing and worked with different materials like clay or acrylic colours. Since that experience it kept Francesca taking a materials approach, even though nowadays she makes digital works, she still tries to include as many handmade aspect in every project as possible.
