"A great invitation is one that you immediately stick up on your fridge and leave it there long after the event is over. I always like to imagine someone receiving my design – what will they do with it? Does it make them look twice, does it make them smile?"

Imar Krige wakes up to the sight of Cape Town's renowned Table Mountain each morning before going to work as a graphic designer in the city’s central business district. He says that he was "born a designer". The process of formally refining his innate gift entailed, among other things, four years of graduate studies at the design school of the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town.
