As if plucked from a nihilistic dark world, his talents for composition and beautiful details are overwhealmingly represented.

Markku Metso’s illustrations looked to be pulled out of some astonishing graphic novel. Everything seems to be engulfed and suffocated by mutated trees and the only slightly human-like subjects sprout from bark and leaves like some sinister demigod of nature.
