No Fly Posters – Jon Bland — Manchester, UK

No Fly is really about innovation “on the run” while maintaining the utmost creativity during the process. The project is always open to surprising ideas and even for non-professionals to submit their work.

No Fly is a unique poster-art-curating project that brings public art into disused public spaces, mainly via boarded-up windows in abandoned buildings. With contributors including Anthony Burrill, James Joyce and Pascal Anson, seven quad-sized posters are designed by seven different artists and released on a monthly basis by the Manchester-domiciled graphic designer Bland, who came up with the idea while commuting to work in 2012.
