Noelia Lozano — San Sebastian, Spain

I like hand-made works and I love working with paper because it is an easy modelling material. I love to see how a piece of flat material can come alive and create shapes with volume... I love it! Also, I work with paper because I think that hand-made works are special because they retain a part of the style of the person who executes them – no two designs are alike, every one is unique and they all have great personality.

With degrees in journalism, telecommunications and computer systems, Noelia Lozana started out working as a draftsman designer before realising her dream of becoming a graphic designer and craft-artist. She makes everything herself by hand and says she is inspired by her surroundings. She is particularly interested in colours and textures, and uses card and wood as the basic material for her display works.
