What mistakes or traps should young designers avoid when designing reports, brochures and catalogues? “Avoid the obvious. We’ve all been there. Take your time, don’t use only the never-ending Internet to inspire you. Go deep and if you find a concept you believe in, then stick to it. The second you start saying ‘yes’ to other people’s ideas, your concept will suffer, and so will the end result. And also. keep on nagging about the worth of a good print job. Silk-screening can be expensive, but it pays off. Experiment and make it work!”
