Set up in 2002, R&D stands for Research and Development, a name that founders Daniel Olsson and Jonas Topooco see as a pretty accurate description of the way they work. Essentially a graphic-design unit, they work closely with other artists, curators, theorists, collectors, directors, museums and cultural institutions. They produce mainly printed matter and are occasionally involved with exhibitions and design events.
