Rhuan Santos — Curitiba, Brazil

“I love all Pink Floyd covers, they are simply outstanding and inspirational. There’s a lot of creativity and originality in covers by Brazilian artists as well. Examples are Secos & Molhados (1973), Jorge Ben’s A Tábua de Esmeralda (1974), Tom Zé’s Todos os Olhos (1973) and all the covers of Afrobeat band Bixiga70. I like when the arts have a hidden concept behind them, making you connect the music and the art, to better understand the artist’s message.”

Rhuan Santos is a graphic artist and designer who works mainly with branding, identity and illustration. As a musician himself since a teenager, he’s currently looking for a connection between his work as graphic designer and his passion for music, working with local bands, artists and producers, aiming to strengthen the production and originality of the Brazilian underground-music scene.
