ZEITGUISED — Berlin, Germany

"A good pattern can become good or bad in context – but a bad pattern will never be anything other than a bad pattern, by itself or in conjunction with context."

Zeitguised is a mash-up of the German word "zeitgeist", which means something like "the spirit of the times", or what is currently fashionable, and the English word "disguised". Its style has been described as high-gloss art-school or 3D punk; it blends complex geometry, surreal objects, artificial behaviour and the recycling of ready-made digital patterns into a hallucinatory narrative.
