Not To Scale signs Richard Hickey to create 'Francis' — London, UK

The story of ‘Francis’ came about interestingly from famed radio show 'This American Life' out of WBEZ Chicago. Broadcaster Ira Glass asked 6 renowned American writers to create a short story about Adventure. One of these stories was written by novelist and screenwriter Dave Eggars, it was read on the show to much acclaim and praise. From here, Richard worked with a team to turn the words into an beautiful short film. He worked on the film tirelessly between paid projects and had 40 people work on all elements of the animation. So far the film has been shown as part of Cannes Film Festival and most recently at Raindance.
