Aleix Gordo Hostau — Barcelona, Spain

“Aesthetically, I’ve been very influenced by comics and graffiti/street art. There’s a touch of low-brow art in what I do, too. My sources of inspiration are my dreams, films, books... and my friends.”

Drawing comes naturally to Aleix Gordo Hostau. The colourful world he has created has brought him lots of opportunities. Gordo started out in publishing and went on to become involved with advertising, fashion, comics, graphic design and murals. He has exhibited his work as far afield as Australia, India, Brazil, the US, the Netherlands, Portugal and Italy.
