EJSMONDT — Poznań, Poland

“On a wall, weather conditions are crucial, and the surface is different — a hard or uneven wall influences the technique and manner of painting. Making large-format paintings is also a physical strain, on top of the risk of working at height. I prefer to use a scaffolding, despite the fact that it blocks the visibility. As for the choice of colour, I always consider the surroundings of a future mural.”

EJSMONDT is a public-space art creator who experiments within the op-art movement. He is currently focusing on portraits.
