Henk Hofstra — Drachten, The Netherlands

"I need one week in general to make an art project. I don’t have to clean up afterward. Nobody does, it just disappears after being walked over or by cars driving over it."

Henk Hofstra is a typical Dutch artist. He paints with passion about the countryside; cows, flowers and landscapes, but he also makes townscapes about Amsterdam for example. Sometimes he paints on demand for companies and private persons, mostly portraits.
