Anna Kulachek — Moscow, Russia

“Russia has a long tradition of pattern. We have many national ornaments that we often use in the identity for government projects when you need to show Russia. I don’t really like it. Only in a few situations does it look interesting, usually it just looks banal.”

Kulachek is Anna Kulachek, currently living in Moscow and working as a freelance at the Polytechnic Museum. Originally from Donetsk in Ukraine, she studied at the High Academic School of Design in the Russian capital and is a former intern at the Fabrica Benetton communication centre, studio and school in Italy.
