Isaac LeFever — Seattle, USA

Why do you like risograph? “I like it in part because it’s really quirky and obscure. The machines and ink drums are hard to come by and when you do find them, you usually have to do a decent amount of maintenance and trouble-shooting to get and maintain good results. There aren’t a lot of people who specialise in repairing the machines so this has fostered a community of enthusiasts online who help each other and it feels like its own subculture.”

Isaac LeFever is an art director and commercial illustrator based out of Seattle, WA. When not working on client projects, he spends time at his home studio reproducing his original illustrations as limited-edition art prints using a mix of techniques including risography, silk screening and metallic foils.
