Things are not that simple for companies and institutions, who have to have one invented for them. Once upon a time, a simple, eye-catching logo did the trick. Now it has all become very much more complicated, with the bigger firms needing a complete “identity system”.

Introducing our very first DVD collection under the theme of Hand-draw. To kick off this unique collection, we had gather 16 top motion artists whose works carry a very strong sense of hand-draw. Beside showcase their works they also share their visual towards hand-draw and all the challenge and satisfaction they gain and overcome during the making. Bringing a human touch to a techno-obsessed industry

Dutch director Andre Maat and Stockholm-based studio RBG6 share a reluctance to fully embrace today’s technology and have purposely taken a step backwards, bringing a “retro” approach to many of their motion works.

A trip back in time

To celebrate its 15 years in the creative business, well-known New York-based design studio 2x4, Inc. decided to search through its archives for the 1,000 images and concepts that represent the highlights of that decade and a half – and present them in an exhibition called It Is What It Is at the Eye of Gyre Gallery in Omoteesando, Japan, as well as publishing them in a book.
