Trunk notecards are a print-ready product. It’s super easy to assemble and can be used for any occasion.

From the architecture, function, and design—the anatomy of a trunk is simply brilliant. I wanted to take the characteristics of a trunk and translate it into paper form. The result: a notecard that looks and acts like a trunk. The opening of the card is strategically designed, so as you flip the card open, an illustration of a trunk’s interior decorates the notecard inside, completing the impression that you’re opening a real trunk. Referencing brands like Moynat, Goyard, and Louis Vuitton (who specialize in iconic trunks), I took design elements like the hardware and locks of vintage trunks as the key details for the illustrations—and combined simple textures with a mix of bold or neutral colors to keep the card design refined.
